Gift for marriage of two fathers
Marnix and Kendra were looking for a very special gift for their fathers as an unforgettable memory of their beautiful wedding day three years ago. They sent us a great family photo taken that day. This family photo formed the basis for the wooden portrait that we designed for their fathers.
Because they still had some doubts about the colors of the portrait, we made various color impressions. This way they could see how the portrait would look in different color combinations. They looked at these color impressions together with their fathers. Based on this, making the final color choice was perfectly doable.
We finally received this great message from Marnix and Kendra: “We gave our fathers the gift this afternoon and they are very happy with it! They think it looks very cool, super detailed and fits perfectly in the living room!”. That’s what we do it for!
We stained the portrait in wenge and whitewash.
The dimensions of the wooden portrait are 100 cm wide and 40 cm high.
