Wedding portrait

A good friend surprised Francis and her new husband with a very personal gift for their wedding. They were able to send us a photo of their wedding day to have a wooden portrait made. They could choose the photo and the colors of the portrait themselves. It became a picture of a very special moment on their wedding day, namely of “the kiss”. We stained the wooden portrait in the color combination wenge with whitewash. We engraved the details of the groom’s shirt in the wooden portrait.

It is a portrait of 25 by 30 cm to put on the cabinet, with a stand on the back. The reaction of the bridal couple after receiving the portrait: “We are really super happy with it!!! Really so beautiful”.

Ger and Wil wanted to surprise their son and daughter-in-law with a beautiful wooden portrait as a gift for their five-year wedding anniversary. A wooden portrait belongs to a wooden wedding, doesn’t it?

A beautiful photo of the newlyweds formed the basis for the design of this portrait. We made the portrait in blackwash and whitewash and the size is 60 cm wide and 50 cm high.

The present was spot on. We received this response from the bridal couple: “Thank you so much for the beautiful work you made from our images. Very nice surprise”.

Debby wanted to surprise her husband with a beautiful gift on the occasion of their 10-year marriage. Of course, such a tin marriage should not go unnoticed. Because they also work a lot with different types of wood, a wooden portrait was of course a very nice choice!

We received some pictures with which we were going to work with. Debby herself had a preference for one of the photos and we were able to edit it into a beautiful design. To help her make the right color choice, we presented her with the design in different color combinations. In the end, she opted for blackwash in combination with smoked oak. She also wanted to add a personal text to the portrait in the form of an engraved plaque.

The portrait is 30 cm high and 40 cm wide.

We received this response: “My partner thought it was a nice and original gift idea. It gets a nice spot in our house. The contrast works very well and therefore it has become a beautiful combination. Thanks!”

Cindy approached us because she and her colleagues from a graphic design agency in the north of the country wanted to have a gift made for their colleague’s golden wedding. We received a beautiful black and white photo of the bridal couple on their wedding day and in consultation with Cindy we chose to show the bridal couple in its entirety on the wooden portrait. This way we could also make the wedding dress look good in its entirety. We made the digital design to which they responded very enthusiastically and then set to work on making the wooden portrait.

The wooden portrait is 40 cm wide and 60 cm high. The portrait has a wenge back panel and the faces are stained in the whitewash.

Elma and her brothers asked us to make a beautiful wooden portrait of a wedding photo of their parents as a gift for their silver wedding. We rendered the portrait in the colours wenge and whitewash. You can almost feel the passion, and their parents are very happy with it!

Joris wanted to surprise his wife with a very personal gift for their five year wedding anniversary: a portrait of wood for their wooden wedding. In addition to the portrait, we have engraved their wedding date on the left and the lyrics of the song “Happy” on the right. This song is very special to them. We stained the portrait in greywash and light greywash. The present was spot on. His wife was completely moved when he gave her the portrait!

Cor wanted to surprise his wife Daniëlle with a special and very personal gift for their twelve and a half year wedding anniversary. We used the most romantic photo of their wedding day to design this portrait. In addition to the portrait, we engraved the lyrics of the song that was played when the newlyweds entered the wedding hall twelve and a half years ago. The portrait is rendered in greywash and light greywash. Daniëlle loved it!

We made this beautiful portrait of this married couple to celebrate their 40th anniversary, requested by their children. It is made of rosewood with whitewash. They have let us know that they are very pleased with the result and love it!
