Portrait in memory
These portraits of her parents who died in the 1980s were made as a gift for an elderly lady with dementia. For these portraits we used old photographs, taken by a professional photographer. The lady recognized them immediately when she unpacked the presents and was very pleased with them.
These portraits are made of 4 mm thick poplar wood and stained in a light oak color. The background is wengé. Both portraits have a stand at the back, so they can be put on a closet in the living room. Now, every night before bedtime, she wishes her parents a good night.
